asa

internal

(asa) — japanese for morning.

the word is old. it meant the time between first light and the world asking things of you. a gap that used to belong to you.

asa is a morning briefing built for that gap.

why

alarms are the worst product ever shipped. a random sound, chosen once, screaming the same way whether you slept nine hours or four. you wake up knowing nothing.

mornings deserve better than a noise. they deserve information. and the first thing worth knowing every morning isn't the news or the weather — it's what happened inside your body overnight.

what asa does

asa wakes you with a spoken briefing instead of a sound.

it starts wherever you want — weather, calendar, whatever you'd check anyway. then it gets to the part that matters: your night, read from your biometrics.

sleep. hrv. resting heart rate. recovery.(currently via whoop.)

then it does the thing no alarm has ever done: it tells you what to do about it. recovered well — push today, train heavy. rough night — asa restructures: lighter session, earlier evening, protect your afternoon.

your body already wrote the plan overnight.
asa just reads it to you.

status

internal. asa currently wakes one person.
